Humasure News
Editorial standards
How Humasure News is written, checked and corrected. We hold our own reporting to the same idea we certify: a human stays in charge.
What we publish
- Explainers and guides on the 10 Directives, safety standards and how to choose AI products and robots.
- News about AI and robot safety: new rules, research, product recalls and incidents.
- Analysis of what those events mean, and which Directive they touch.
- Humasure updates about our own work, clearly labeled as such.
How we use AI, and where a person decides
Our newsroom uses AI to scan sources, draft stories and check them against our style and these standards. Then:
- Every story that names a real company, product or person, and every news or analysis piece, is checked and approved by a person before it is published.
- Explainers and guides that name no company may be published after automated checks, and a person reviews them afterwards.
- Each story says at the end how it was made.
Facts and sources
- Every factual claim links to its source, preferably the original: the study, the regulator, the court filing, the company’s own statement.
- We write in our own words and quote sparingly, with credit.
- We say what we don’t know, and we don’t speculate about causes before they are established.
Fairness
- We describe incidents factually and calmly, without blame beyond what the evidence shows.
- When we report a problem with a company’s product, we link to its response or note that we asked for one.
- We are for safe AI and robots, not against the industry.
Independence
- No company pays for coverage, and we publish no sponsored stories.
- Once Humasure certifies products, coverage of a certified product will say so, and certified producers get no gentler treatment.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it and add a note at the end of the story saying what changed and when. Report an error to info@humasure.org.
